I am the owner of a small printing business and a small media and photography business based in the beautiful county of Northumberland near the border with Newcastle upon Tyne. I’ve been taking photos for about 50 years. I got my first camera in the 60s and my first SLR, a Pentax ME Super around 1978. I enjoyed developing and printing my own b&w and colour photos back then.

The Pentax took a back seat when digital (and family) came along and for some years I mainly used an assortment of compact and bridge cameras. I’ve still got the trusty Pentax SLR but now use a Canon DSLR.

I take photos that interest me and process them in a style that appeals to me, so I hope you enjoy taking a look at some of them. I particularly enjoy taking photos of landscapes, cityscapes and nightscapes but anything takes my fancy really.

Prints, canvases, calendars and cards can be bought from the shop section of the site. If you would like framed prints or a larger choice of canvas and other substrates, these can be bought from my pages on Photo4me and Fine Art America.

I also offer photo walks and photo tours along with tuition for beginners and intermediates. Generally these will take place in Newcastle, Northumberland, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Edinburgh and London.

London, Edinburgh and Newcastle locations are also available as night walks, which are obviously more popular from November to February. More information can be found on the Tuition page and they can be purchased in the Shop section of the site.
